The Inland Empire chapter of the National Latina Business Women Association (NLBWA-IE) is dedicated to helping Latinas achieve their business goals and professional aspirations through educational opportunities, networking, mentoring, and business referrals. The organization, formed in April 2008, strives to address the needs of the growing number of Latina entrepreneurs, executives, and professionals, regardless of industry or career level. NLBWA-IE plays an important role in creating greater visibility and highlighting business opportunities for its members.

NLBWA-IE offers its members a broad range of activities:

Programs & Events. The organization sponsors several programs and events, including:
• Monthly breakfasts in partnership with the Inland Empire Women’s Business Center
• Business mixers that provide networking opportunities
• A Latina Financial Group educates Latinas on the dynamics of financial planning
• Recognition and celebratory activities that spotlight the members' amazing achievements

Business Development. NLBWA-IE assists members in all phases of business development through:
• Business referrals
• Presentations on current events and professional development
• Information on business legislation and laws
• Advocacy opportunities and events

Professional Development.
NLBWA-IE recognizes that its membership includes both new professionals as well as seasoned executives. The organization provides professional development programs to meet individual needs, including an Emerging Latinas program designed to help Latinas start a successful business, as well as programs offering management, leadership, and business strategies for more senior executives and professionals.

Marketing Opportunities. NLBWA-IE offers numerous marketing opportunities for members, including business networking events at various venues.
